This is the latest design of the Georiders website I created for mountain bike guiding in the Republic of Georgia, based in the capital Tbilisi. I previously posted a draft version of the design and since then it progressed quite a lot. I added a lot more graphical and textural elements in keeping with the grungy sport style.
It is an informational and community website to develop the sport of mountain biking in Georgia. The site has a mailing list, forum and blog with custom wordpress theme. The website already gets many hits, mostly from Georgia, Western Europe and the US. The website is successfully attracting customers interested in mountain bike guiding who have sent in enquiries via the contact form.
I intend to fix a few bugs, improve the speed by further optimising the graphics, tweak the blog theme so it’s faster and neater. Using Google Analytics to discover which content is most popular, I intend to work into those pages to enhance the user experience and better deliver what the user needs from the website.
