I created this in Delhi in March 2009. It’s inspired by bureaucracy and my difficulties at the time with obtaining visas. I used contrasting sizes in the typography for surreal effect. The idea is a ‘data’ cloud of the absense of having a grasp on my situation at the time. Reading it I find is quite interesting as the facts blur with the more surreal and lighthearted metaphoric description of bureaucracy. It’s meant to reflect the illogical and absurd nature of bureaucracy when it filters down to the average traveller like me.
