First Brokerage

I arrived in Tbilisi by bicycle and got a job to build a property website for the company. It was a very complex site with many search variables built in ASP.net and MSSQL 2000. The site had a quick search, and advanced search. Basic search variables such as price, city, street, area, and type were extended to house characteristics e.g. AC, balcony, central heating. There was a user system where users create an account and can submit properties for approval by admin, which could be saved as a draft for later editing. They could bookmark properties and save profile information. The CMS allowed the admin to edit all static content, add, edit, and delete cities, districts, and streets.  Properties could either be for rent or for sale. Each property contained an entry with a list of characteristics which could be viewed by clicking on the individual listings in the property search. The admin could assign agents to different properties to distribute and specialise the workload. I worked on the project with Tom. We were on contract basis for the project. The client’s goal was to create the best website in Tbilisi for property compared to their competitors, increase the customer base and property listings. The design was already made and coded but required a complete overhaul to fit the actual website. Finally I only used the colours and style of the original design. I created a new grid based design, and CSS layout for the pages and CMS.
